Detailed Itinerary: 10 Days Northern Culture Adventure
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Upon arrival at Entebbe airport, you will meet and greet with our guide/driver who will drive you to your booked hotel for relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Karamoja via Pian Upe Game Reserve
After an early breakfast, our guide/driver will pick you up from your hotel to transfer to Mount Moroto en-route lunch and a visit to Pian Upe game reserve for a nature walk within the reserve and we shall have panoramic views of the vast plains of the park with variety of bird species and wildlife such as Elands, dik diks, Ostriches and many more rare species of mammals as well as birds. Later proceed to your booked lodge in Moroto.
Mount Moroto is one of the volcanoes along the international border of Uganda and Kenya. As you drive towards the mountain, enjoy the countryside beautiful views of different features like plantations, valleys, hills and many others. You will arrive at your booked lodge in the evening hours for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Hike Moroto Mountain 3,083m asl.
Today after breakfast, you will drive to the starting point for registration and briefing about the hike. After, you will move through the rainforests as you watch different amazing species like trees and wildlife like monkeys among others. The mountain guides will be available for any questions about the mountain and they will also help you through the hiking process. You will reach the summit of the mountain in the late afternoon or evening hours depending on your physical ability.

Day 4: Descending the Moroto Mountain
Today you will wake up and watch the beautiful sunrise at the summit of Mount Moroto, have your tasty breakfast and later prepare for you descend to the starting point. The descend from the summit is always easier than hike. So, expect to reach the starting point during lunch time and you will be given hiking certificates for recognition. You will later drive to your lodge for relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 5: Cycling Tour & Nomad Bush Camping
Today after breakfast at leisure, you will head out for this thrilling cycling tour around the Karamojong community through abandoned colonial roads and the cattle paths of the nomadic warriors and as you learn about the pastoral culture in their community and interact with the indigenous communities. Later, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation as you prepare for the bush camping with the herders as you experience the real Karamojong pastoral life as you immerse yourself fully into their activities.

Day 6: Hike Mount Morungole (10km Hike)
Today, you will have your early breakfast before driving to Mt. Morungole to start your 10km hike. On arrival at Morungole eco-camp, you will have lunch and hike to the peak and descend back to Morungole eco-camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Dodoth & IK Cultural Experiences
After your early breakfast, you will set off to Timu eco-camp for briefing with your local guide before proceeding for the Dodoth cultural experience. Later, return to the camp for lunch and Timu escarpment walk. Then after you will take on the IK cultural experience, The IK tribe counts only 7,000 people remaining, the people still speak their ancestral language and practice their traditional culture and traditions. A unique insight into a living traditional culture. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer – Kidepo Valley National Park
After your breakfast at leisure, you will head north to Kidepo Valley National Park, one of the most remote and spectacular parks in Uganda. You will enjoy an evening game drive in the park, spotting various animals such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, and many more.

Day 9: Game drive – Kidepo Valley National Park
Today you will wake up very early with packed breakfast for a morning game drive with viewing the park’s endowed diversity of wildlife such as elephants, leopard, warthogs, ostriches, buffaloes, giraffes and lions and continue to bird watching in the Narus Valley. After the game drive, return to the camp in time for lunch. You will spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing at the camp.

Day 10: Transfer – Entebbe International Airport
After breakfast, we will depart Kidepo Valley National Park and drive back to Kampala via Gulu. We shall have en-route lunch and proceed to Kampala in the late afternoon. You will then be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
