Day 1: Arrive and transfer to the hotel
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by a Pamoja Safaris guide and transferred to the hotel in Entebbe/Kampala for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park
We will begin with driving Northwards to Murchison Falls National Park and with a hot lunch en-route, for breathtaking scenery and a short nature walk and Rhino tracking to the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary in Nakasongola. The guided nature walk in the sanctuary brings you up close to the endangered rhinos (the only ones in Uganda). Day 3: Morning Game Drive & Afternoon Boat Trip
After an early morning breakfast, enjoy an early game drive and see animals like giraffes, elephants and buffaloes that roam in the park. Return to the lodge for Lunch. In the afternoon go for a boat cruise upstream to the foot of the thundering Falls offering great photo opportunities of this marvel of nature. Also along the banks of the river, you will be able to see animals like hippos, crocodiles and unique bird species for Bird watchers. From the bottom of the falls, take a short hike to the top of the mighty waterfalls for spectacular views and later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Morning Boat Cruise to Delta, Afternoon Visit to the local Community
Morning Boat trip to Delta in search of Shoebills, wildlife and scenic views. We cruise to the Nile Delta point and which is the lowest point in Uganda where the Nile leaves Lake Albert. This place is worth the visit as plenty of unique butterflies are also seen.
After this boat trip, you will cross to the Southern bank and have lunch. Afternoon cultural performance at Mubaku Community, dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Drive to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, we set off to Kibale Forest National Park as our next destination. Expect to see locals attending to their gardens and farms on the way. A lot of cash crops are grown in this region such as cotton, tobacco, maize, bananas and tea. There is always room for photography.
Overseeing the foothills of the Ruwenzori also commonly referred to as the “Mountains of the Moon” you later arrive at the lodge in time for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Swamp Walk
After early served breakfast, drive to Kanyanchu Visitor Information Centre for registration and briefing. This is where all activities to be done in the park are managed. Later a ranger guide will lead you to see man’s closest relatives in the forest.
Guided by his tracking skill you will find and spend an hour with the chimps in the forests. After the experience, we return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, we set off for a walk in the Magombe swamp or a community walk in Bigodi. These walks bring you closer to other primates and birds, African science, home settings and agriculture respectively.

Day 7: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and embark on the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, another scenic drive on the foothills of the Rwenzori’s seeing glaciations on a clear day, banana and tomato plantations, as well as cotton and tea.
We pass through Kasese town, a very famous copper mining town in Uganda. On arriving, we check in at the lodge for lunch.
In the evening, we go for a game drive with a high chance of seeing lions, leopards, Uganda Kob, elephants, buffaloes and an abundance of bird life.

Day 8: Morning Game Drive, Afternoon Boat Cruise
With a packed breakfast, you set off for a morning game drive in Kasenyi’s open area for active game viewing. You might get lucky and see lions in action. The sunrise in the wilderness is wonderful as more animals are very active at this time and the sight of predators like hyenas walking back to their dens is a great experience.
We then return to the lodge for lunch and then a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel in the late afternoon. This boat ride is very worthwhile as it brings you close to the water birds like kingfishers, fish eagles, pelicans especially at the pelican point, African spoon bill, African darters and reptiles like the Nile crocodiles and monitor lizards are often seen in addition to plenty of buffaloes and elephants.

Day 9: Drive to Ishasha For Tree Climbing Lion – Proceed to Bwindi
After an early breakfast, drive to Ishasha, the Southern sector of Queen Elizabeth national park. The 2-hour drive there goes along with an adventurous road sightseeing as more wildlife is seen along the way.
A game drive in Ishasha will give you a chance of seeing the famous tree-climbing lions, topis, hyenas, leopards, elephants, buffaloes and a true wildlife landscape and this is so close to the Democratic Republic of Congo at the river camp.
Have lunch and later continue to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park driving through hills, mountains and terraced land prepared for local agriculture.

Day 10: Gorillas Trekking & Community Visit.
By this time, the “I can’t wait to see Mountain Gorillas” mind comes to an end. It’s gorilla day today so after breakfast, you will get to the park offices for briefing, group allocation and guide.
Gorilla tracking can be long but very worth it. Your ranger guide will lead you into the forest, his radio communication with the trackers will find you the gentle giants. Upon tracking the Gorillas, you spend a lifetime one hour with them as they feed the young ones play and nap before saying goodbye to the impenetrable forest.
Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park
After early served breakfast, we then set off to Lake Mburo National Park. We drive through mountains of rolling green terraces cultivated by the Bakiga whose livelihood depends on agriculture and then to the land of milk, home of long-horned cattle.
Make a stopover in Mbarara town for lunch and later check in at your lodge in Lake Mburo National Park. An evening sunset game drive to see the zebras, Topis, eland, buffalos, Impalas, warthogs, leopards, bushbuck, Twany eagles and starlings among others is highly recommended.

Day 12: Transfer to the Airport
After breakfast, we embark on the journey to Kampala/Entebbe depending on your flight time and program however our guide will also advise accordingly.
On the way, stop at the Equator for the zero-line optional experience. A lot of souvenir shops are found here just for the remembrance of your amazing Uganda safari. You can have a cup of coffee or tea before continuing to your destination arriving in Kampala in the late afternoon or evening.
