We’ll warm up with the source of the River Nile and the world’s best coffee experience in Sipi at the foothills of Mount Elgon to give you the best Photography Vacation in Africa. The authentic culture through Kidepo Valley National Park, one of the best wilderness parks in Africa before proceeding to Murchison Falls National Park for its most powerful falls in the world and Chimpanzee tracking in Budongo, one of the most remarkable wildlife experiences available on the continent. Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Upon your arrival, our guide/driver will receive you at Entebbe airport and transfer you to your booked hotel in Entebbe. Depending on your arrival time, you may opt to enjoy an optional sundowner cruise photography moment on Lake Victoria in case you arrive before 4:00 pm or any other activity within Entebbe town.

Day 2: Transfer & Mabira Forest Walk to Jinja, River Nile
Today you will have your breakfast at leisure before you embark on a journey to Jinja en-route Mabira Forest Lodge for the forest walk. This Jinja town is located on the shores of Lake Victoria the famous source of the River Nile and known as the adventure capital of East Africa. You will check in at your booked hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing at the lodge or engaging in some optional activities within the area from a Quad biking safari that takes you through local villages, to a visit to Itanda Falls on the river Nile among others.

Day 3: Optional White-Water Rafting & Source of the Nile Boat Cruise
After breakfast, you will drive out to the starting point for the White water rafting on the River Nile. You will be briefed and safety instructions from our professional guides before embarking on an exciting yet adventurous as you navigate through thrilling rapids and enjoy the stunning scenery of the River Nile as you paddle downstream with several stop-overs for birding, photography and picnic lunch along the Nile. You will continue with the rafting until you reach the endpoint, where you will meet our guide/driver, who will drive you back to your lodge for a hot lunch and relaxation before you head out for the afternoon/evening private boat cruise to the source of the Nile as you witness the point where the Nile River begins its 6,650kms journey to the Mediterranean Sea as well as learn about the history and cultural significance.

Day 4: Transfer & Sunset Walk – Sipi Falls, Uganda
After your breakfast at leisure, you will check out of your hotel and embark on a road transfer to Sipi Falls-Kapchorwa, Sipi Falls is a series of three waterfalls in Eastern Uganda within the districts of Kapchorwa, Sironko and Mbale town. The waterfalls lie on the edge of Mount Elgon National Park near the Kenyan border. Sipi Falls is approximately 277km from Kampala, Uganda’s capital in the Kapchorwa district. Upon arrival at your booked lodge, you will have lunch and prepare for the sunset walk later in the evening.

Day 5: Optional Sipi Falls Hike & Coffee Tour – Sipi Falls
After an early breakfast, you will embark on a guided hike to explore the stunning Sipi Falls. Sipi Falls a series of three waterfalls nestled amidst beautiful landscapes, offering breathtaking views. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the natural pools and marvel at the picturesque scenery. Later after your delicious lunch, you will head out for the coffee tour in the local community surrounding Sipi Falls. Learn about the coffee production process, from planting to harvesting to processing, and sample some locally brewed coffee. Interact with the friendly local community and get insights into their way of life. Visit a nearby village and immerse yourself in the local culture and traditions.

Today you will have breakfast at leisure, then transfer to Karamoja via Pian Upe for a walking safari within the park and enjoy the stunning views of the flat lands at Napedet Cave (Elephant Rock).
Pian Upe Game Reserve is one of the largest and most remote protected areas in Uganda, with a diverse range of wildlife such as elands, leopards, Antelopes, giraffes and a haven for birdlife. Later, proceed to Moroto for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Village Experience (Homestay) & Cycling tour – Karamoja
After breakfast, you will spend the rest of the day exploring the Karamojong communities on foot and bicycle.
You will get firsthand impression of Uganda’s last living traditional cultures. Experience traditional life, domestic duties and colourful dances and games.

Day 8: Hike Mount Morungole (10km Hike)
Today, you will have your early breakfast before driving to Mt. Morungole to start your 10km hike. On arrival at Morungole eco-camp, you will have lunch and hike to the peak and descend back to Morungole eco-camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: IK Cultural Experiences
After your early breakfast, you will set off to Timu eco-camp for the IK medicinal walk and return to the camp for lunch Then you will take on the IK cultural experience, The IK tribe counts only 7,000 people remaining, the people still speak their ancestral language and practice their traditional culture and traditions. A unique insight into a living traditional culture. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Transfer – Kidepo Valley National Park
After your breakfast at leisure, you will head north to Kidepo Valley National Park, one of the most remote and spectacular parks in Uganda. You will enjoy an evening game drive in the park, spotting various animals such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, and many more.

Day 11: Game drive – Kidepo Valley National Park
Today you will wake up very early with a packed breakfast for a morning game drive while viewing the park’s endowed diversity of wildlife such as elephants, leopards, warthogs, ostriches, buffaloes, giraffes and lions and continue to bird-watching in the Narus Valley. After the game drive, return to the camp in time for lunch. You will spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing at the camp.

Day 12: Transfer – Murchison Falls National Park
After your tasty breakfast, you will transfer to Murchison Falls National Park through the northern sector with lunch along the way. The Park is bisected by the Victoria Nile, which plunges 45m over the remnant rift valley wall, creating the dramatic Murchison Falls, the centrepiece of the park and the final event in an 80km stretch of rapids. The mighty cascade drains the last of the river’s energy, transforming it into a broad, placid stream that flows quietly across the rift valley floor into Lake Albert. There are a lot of animals to see on your way to the hotel through the park such as elephants, giraffes and buffaloes; while hippos, Nile crocodiles and aquatic birds are permanent residents.

Day 13: Game drive & Boat Cruise, Hike to the Top of the Falls – Murchison Falls National Park
After an early breakfast, you shall go for a 3-hour game drive. Expect to see animals including Giraffes, Lions, Jackson hartebeest, Uganda Kob, Elephants and a lot of birds in the savannah. You will then go back for lunch and thereafter go for a boat cruise to the bottom of the Murchison Falls and then hike to the top of the falls where you shall be met by your guide to bring you back to your accommodation.

Day 14: Chimpanzee Trekking in Budongo & Mubaku Community Tour – Murchison Falls N. Park
After your breakfast at leisure, you will drive to the briefing point in Budongo forest for this thrilling adventure to encounter our closest cousin in their natural habitat then after an encounter, you will return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation before you head out for an African authentic experience at Mubaku community village as you engage into a community walk, basket weaving, craft making among others. You will spend the entire day immersing yourself fully into the community lifestyle with the women and children as well as visiting the community school and medical center. Later, you will return to your lodge for dinner or a sundowner game drive that gives you a great opportunity to have the best wildlife shots of the day.

Day 15: Transfer & Rhino Tracking – Entebbe Airport
After your early morning breakfast, you will head out for an exciting and yet thrilling rhino tracking experience at Ziwa Rhino Wildlife Ranch, while here you will enter the territory of the southern white rhinos on foot. Well-trained ranger guide will take you through the bush to where the rhinos are on the day of your visit. You will have the opportunity to watch these endangered, magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. As these rhinos are free to move around on 7000 hectares of land, it is often necessary to drive to the areas where the rhinos are, before taking the bush trek. This activity will take you about one and a half to two and a half hours depending on where the Rhinos were last seen. After an encounter, proceed to Entebbe airport with en-route lunch before you drive out to the airport.
