Remarkable family tours will take you through one of Kampala’s closest national parks, where you will explore the wildlife on foot and bicycle. This is one of the savanna national parks in Uganda that is a habitat for some of the rarest mammal species in Lake Mburo National Park. For your remarkable family tours with or without a family, the park is good for bicycle tours and walking safaris.
Day 1; Pickup and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Day 2; Morning Family walking safaris, afternoon Boat trip
Day 3; Transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe
Day 1: Arrival & Transfer – Lake Mburo National Park
Today morning, our guide/driver will pick you up from Entebbe International Airport or your hotel/residence and transfer you to Lake Mburo National Park. You will have an en-route stopover at the Uganda Equator for the experience and family photo moment, as well as lunch in Mbarara city. You will later proceed to your hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning Walking Safari & Afternoon Boat Trip
After your morning breakfast, you will be met by an Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guide who will take you through a briefing and then for a safari walk on foot or an optional horseback ride. This activity is suitable for those who would like to stretch their legs and view wildlife on foot. You will get an opportunity to see what you could have seen on any game drive, except that this time around you will do it on foot.
Later, after lunch, you will be driven to Lake Mburo for a 2-hour boat trip. This boat trip allows you to see hippos, crocodiles, and aquatic bird species such as the African fish eagle and the rare African fin foot, among others. Many animals, such as buffaloes and antelopes, gather here to drink some water, providing an opportunity to enjoy wildlife, especially marine animals. After your boat cruise, you will retire to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay

Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe Airport
After your early breakfast, you will head out for a cycling tour around the park or communities Then, return to your lodge for lunch and transfer to Entebbe Airport/Kampala for your departure flight.
