5 Days Rwanda and Uganda Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and later transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park Uganda

Airport transfer with private vehicle and guide. Transfer to Bwindi National Park with a private vehicle and driver.

Your guide will take you on a tour of Kigali’s new and vibrant capital city. The new prosperity features several thriving markets and the mountain terrain famous in Rwanda. A sober contrast to its recent history.

For survivors and others whose families were murdered in Rwanda´s genocide in 1994, the memorial sites and centres are places of dignified remembrance for loved ones lost. It is also a place of reflection and learning for the wider community, both in Rwanda and internationally.
Later, our driver guide will drive you to the border and cross to Uganda via the Kyanika or Gatuna border.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking & Pygmy Tours

Have an early morning breakfast and head to the park headquarters for briefing by the ranger guides before embarking on your gorilla trek. Head into the forest and trek until you find the gorillas. Gorilla trekking can take 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. After finding the gorillas in Bwindi, you will be allowed only 1 hour and then return.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early morning breakfast, transfer from Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha the southern part of the Queen Elizabeth National Park in search of tree tree-climbing Lion. Later you drive to the Northern sector around Kyambura Dinner and overstay at,

Day 4: Morning Chimpanzee Tracking and Afternoon Boat Trip

After breakfast on an early morning, set out with the driver guide as he will transfer you to the park head offices for briefing. After the briefing, at around 8:00 am start chimpanzee tracking through the gorge as you will be guided by the park rangers. It is always a thrilling and unforgettable experience meeting chimpanzees face to face and watching them engage in their daily activities like playing, jumping feeding, etc. Also, other animals can be spotted such as the savannah Elephants, monkeys, and also different birds. Later after lunch, you will have an afternoon boat trip along the Kazinga Channel and after that, you will be returning to the lodge with an evening game drive, dinner and overnight at,

Day 5: Transfer back to Kigali or Entebbe Airport in Uganda

Take your breakfast at leisure at your hotel and later be ready to drive back to Rwanda. Your guide will drop you at your hotel or at the airport for your scheduled flight back home.
