5 Days Budget Rwanda Primate Safari

Budget Rwanda Primate Safari gives you the opportunity to see gorillas and other primates in Nyungwe Forest National Park  Rwanda. The preserved Nyungwe rain-forest is home to a variety of primate species, including the chimpanzee, L,honest monkey and hundreds of acrobatic Angolan Colobus monkeys. Its also a birder’s paradise, with over 300 species (including 16 endemics) living here. You will also visit the Butare Museum, King Palace In Nyanza, Kigali Genocide Memorial Center, Lake Kivu and be entertained by Intore dancers.

We try to make our prices as all-inclusive as possible so that our clients do not need to reach for their wallets. where there are overland sectors, the 4×4 vehicle and the safari guide will be at the client exclusively. The Guide will accompany clients in all overland sectors, assist with check-in at the accommodation and share his knowledge on the flora and fauna of Uganda.

Day 1. Nyungwe

Budget Rwanda Primate Safari start with breakfast in Kigali we drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park. Along the way, we will pass through the beautiful, hilly countryside that gives Rwanda its name, the country of thousand hills.

Day 2.  Chimpanzee Tracking – Canopy Walk

You will wake early, around 4:30 am, eat breakfast and then set off for about one and half hours drive before the start forest walk to track chimpanzees. During your walk inside the forest, you may encounter other primates, animal and bird species. In the afternoon, you will return to the Hotel for lunch. later proceed for a canopy walk, where you will view a variety of animal species and beautiful landscape. After this walk, you will return to the lodge

Day 3. Drive to Gisenyi

After breakfast at (+|-08h00). we will drive to  Gisenyi. During this drive, you will have the opportunity to see the daily lives of the people who have lived in this countryside for centuries, virtually unchanged. Arrive at Gisenyi for lunch and visit the Border of Rwanda and Congo DRC. Goma was devastated by the eruption of the Nyiragongo active volcano in the eastern part of DRC. Congo, however, you can cross a boarder to Goma.

Day 4. Volcanoes National Park

You will be picked up at 5:30 am and drive to Volcanoes National Park for gorilla trekking. The trek may last from 1-8 hours depending on the gorilla’s movements.

Day 5. Kigali

Budget Rwanda Primate Safari start with breakfast before being entertained by Intore dancers at the Ibyiwacu culture centre, later drive back to Kigali.
