9 Days Fly-in Uganda Adventure

Fly-in Uganda Adventure. The distinct scenery of western Uganda is filled with wildlife and mountain gorillas. Come to know Uganda with scheduled flights to Kisoro, Kibale National Park, and Murchison Falls. Most importantly, maximise visiting endangered mountain gorillas twice in Uganda’s old rainforest. One is the trekking experience and the other is the habituation experience where you spend about 4 hours with the gentle giants trailing.

Day 1: Flight Transfer – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Today, we will transfer to Entebbe Airport for a connecting flight to Kisoro. Upon arrival at Kisoro airstrip, our driver guide will transfer you to your lodge. Check-in at your booked lodge in preparation for the next day’s Ultimate Gorilla Trek.

Day 2: Ultimate Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Today you shall get up close and personal with the mountain gorillas. The journey starts with a briefing at the park headquarters and later descends into the jungles. You shall be allowed an hour with them and later return to the lodge for lunch, relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Gorilla Habituation Experience – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Today just as the previous day, embark on another incredible adventure looking for the gentle giants of Bwindi. But this time, it starts so early, as you have to start with the gorillas at the same time as they begin their daily work. Once found, you shall spend 4 hours with the gorillas and observe their day-to-day behaviours. This gives you more insight and allows you to witness what you missed the previous day. Return to the lodge for lunch and spend the rest of your evening on a sundowner.

Today morning, you shall transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, After your breakfast at leisure, you will transfer by road through rolling hills and farmland to the Ishasha sector for the afternoon game drive in search of tree-climbing lions and more wildlife. Hyenas, hippos, buffalos, elephants, Topis, lions, leopards and much more wildlife to see. Let’s enjoy a great sundowner and watch the sun go down in Golden lights.

Day 5: Transfer – Kibale Forest National Park (bush breakfast)

You will have your breakfast by the river in the park, check out of your lodge and embark on a scenic road transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. On a drive to Kibale National Park, you will be able to enjoy an impressive sight of the legendary “Mountains of the Moon,” which you will see on the road to Fort Portal.

Day 6: Bigodi Swamp Walk & Chimpanzee Trekking.

On this day, you shall proceed for the Bigodi swamp walk on the outskirts of Kibale National Park. This is a 3-hour exciting walk and later head for the chimpanzee trekking experience in the afternoon. Retire to the lodge, which has a beautiful pool & sunset.

Day 8: Morning Game Drive & Boat Trip on the Nile River, Hike top of the Falls.

Today we will embark on a wildlife game drive on the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park. We could have our lunch at the lodge and later go for the afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls, Hike to the top of the falls and then go back to the Lodge.

Day 9: Flight Transfer – Entebbe International Airport

We will transfer to Bugungu Airstrip for a flight back to Entebbe Airport. This will take approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival at the airport for your connecting flight back home, depending on your departure flight time, you can opt to check into a nearby hotel for relaxation as you wait for your flight.
