Day 1: Arrival & Sunset Cruise—Lake Victoria
Upon arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, our friendly driver/guide will receive you and, thereafter, transfer you to your booked hotel. Depending on your arrival time, in case you arrive before 4:00 pm, you will head out for a sunset cruise on Lake Victoria, where you can relish the serene views of the lake as the sun gently sets. Later return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer – Murchison Falls National Park En-route Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After an early breakfast, you will transfer to Murchison Falls National Park with a stop-over at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you will enjoy a walking safari tracking the southern white rhinos that have been reintroduced in Uganda. Later you will have an en-route lunch proceeding to the park.

Day 3: Game drive & Boat Cruise, Hike to the Top of the Falls – Murchison Falls
After early morning breakfast, you will drive out for the morning game drive across the African savannah to lake Albert, where you can spot various animals and bird species. In the afternoon, head out for an afternoon cruise up to the base of the falls, marvelling at the impressive falls and the chance to spot Nile crocodiles with a hike to the top of the falls.

Day 4: Transfer – Kibale Forest National Park
On This day, we will have a short community visit and then later embark on a drive to Kibale National Park. Seemingly the only long but interesting drive we will have on this journey. Through the Lake Albert escarpment, Discover the rural areas of Uganda and through the lush green vegetation and tea plantations. We should be able to arrive about 3-4 o’clock depending on our driving and the nature of the terrain, drive time is 6-7 hours through typical rural areas. We also have our lunch picnic break along the way.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Habituation Experience & Bigodi Village Walk – Kibale Forest
After an early morning breakfast, embark on a chimpanzee habituation adventure in Kibale Forest National Park, observing their morning rituals and social interactions with an experienced ranger. In the afternoon, enjoy a village walk around Bigodi, visiting a traditional healer and interacting with the local community.

Day 6: Transfer – Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s renowned game reserve named after the late Queen of England. Crossing the equator along the way, the park spans diverse habitats from crater-dotted foothills to lowland forests. In the evening, embark on a game drive in the park to explore its scenic landscapes and wildlife.

Day 7: Game drive & Afternoon Boat Cruise – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Enjoy an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, home to over 100 mammal species, including lions, hippos, buffaloes, leopards, elephants, and giant forest hogs among others. The primate population is equally impressive, featuring chimps, colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and baboons. In the afternoon, experience an afternoon boat safari on the Kazinga Channel.

Day 8: Transfer & Sundowner Game Drive – Ishasha Sector
This morning after a relaxed breakfast, we will check out of your lodge and transfer to Ishasha the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. We will have an en-route game drive as we proceed to the Ishasha sector. Upon arrival at the booked lodge, you will check in and head out to traverse through the park in search of the tree-climbing lions and more wildlife. Hyenas, hippos, buffalos, elephants, Topis, lions, leopards and much more wildlife to see. Let’s enjoy a great sundowner and watch the sun go down in Golden lights.

Day 9: Game drive & Transfer – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
In the morning, depart for the home of the mountain gorillas with a morning opportunity to spot tree-climbing lions on another game drive in the Ishasha Sector. After lunch, continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, renowned for gorilla trekking and home to elephants, chimpanzees, monkeys, and various antelopes, along with 23 bird species restricted to the Albertine region.

After breakfast, you will drive to Kihihi Airstrip and fly back to Entebbe, enjoying the beautiful aerial view of South-Western Uganda, the hills and thick vegetation, as well as the farming practised by the locals. Upon reaching Entebbe, you will connect to your return flight home.
