Special sightings in Queen National Park and the Kasenyi plains are found in Queen Elizabeth National Park located in Kasese in the Western part of Uganda. Kasenyi plains is in the North Eastern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, also referred to as the Mweya-Kasenyi sector in contrast to the Ishasha sector South of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The plains provide fascinating views of the savannah roaming with antelopes and Uganda kobs.

Since the plains have a lot of antelopes, many lions as well as other cats are usually seen here as most of them target the antelopes for their prey. While in the Kasenyi plains, you can also take a 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga channel that connects Lake Edward and George.
