You will explore Uganda’s unique cultural norms and traditions and experience the utmost fun through the unique norms relating more to the Buganda Culture as one of the most vibrant tribes of Uganda.
Day Trip Summary:

Uganda Cultural Experience: Detailed Itineraries:
7:30 am – Pick-Up & Transfer to Mukono, Uganda.
Our guide/driver will pick you up from your residence or hotel and transfer you to Ewaffe Cultural Village in Naggalama, Mukono district.
9:00 am – Arrival at Ewaffe Cultural Village, in Mukono
Upon arrival you will be warmly welcomed with a welcoming refreshment and the famous traditional Kiganda dances, Bakisimba, and Nankasa You will then be briefed about today’s itinerary by the site/local guide.
9:30am – 11:00am Farm Experience
You will take on a farm walking tour learning about the local plants, spices and herbs species. You will learn how to use them and also know a lot stories attached to each of them. Then you will ask questions in case you have them.
11:00 – 11:30 am Indigenous Fruit Feast
You will have an organic fruit-tasting experience, harvest and taste.
11:30 – 1:00 pm Packed up Activities.
You will engage in gender-based role plays and traditional cooking classes where you will learn how to prepare a traditional local cuisine like matooke and luwombo. Traditional local brew, Bark cloth making, Craft making, Fishing expedition and Sugarcane hunt
1:00 pm-2:00 pm Traditional lunch cuisines served with Luwombo
After the cooking classes are over, it’s time to taste and enjoy what you have been able to cook. You will dine like a typical Muganda lady/man as you celebrate one of the best cuisines in Uganda.
2:00 pm-3:00 pm Traditional Education Gender-based sex education by Kojjas and Sengas (Elders) The sex education is conducted in appropriate natural relaxing gardens. Then after you will have a traditional Sauna & Massage session.
3:00 pm-5:00 pm Extra Activities
You will immerse fully into the community as you give back to nature by planting Trees and engaging in a number of community games.
5:00 pm-6:00 pm Community Engagement.
You will participate in Goat roasting & local brew tasting, after all these experiences, our guide/driver will transfer you back to your hotel in Kampala.
