Day 1: Arrival & Sunset Cruise: Entebbe International Airport

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be received by our guide/driver. He will then transfer you to your booked hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay. Depending on your arrival time below 4:00 pm, you will prepare for a sunset cruise on Lake Victoria.

Day 2: Transfer & Forest Walk: Mabira Forest

Today you will have your breakfast at leisure. Later, embark on the drive to Jinja en route Mabira forest for a forest excursion. Upon reaching the forest, you will check into your exclusive cottage, in the middle of the jungle and head out with a site guide for a walking experience within this thick forest.

Day 3: Boat Cruise: Source of the Nile

Today, romance takes centre stage as you board drifting along calm waters, you and your partner will find yourselves embraced by Uganda’s jaw-dropping landscapes. With the gentle sounds of the river as your backdrop, let the moments unfold in tranquillity. Cherish this time together as you create memories against the picturesque backdrops of the Nile’s beauty.

After your morning breakfast, you will transfer to Kampala, and take the opportunity to reflect on the shared experiences you’ve enjoyed so far. The road serves as a metaphor for the path you’ve walked together, with each moment adding a new layer to the tapestry of your journey. This reflective drive paves the way for the upcoming chapters of your honeymoon adventure. Upon arrival at your booked hotel in the Capital Kampala, you will check in and prepare for the evening cultural/traditional performances at Ndere Cultural Center.

Day 5: Transfer – Kibale Forest National Park

The road leads you to Kibale National Park, a haven for primate enthusiasts. As you traverse the changing landscapes, excitement builds for the upcoming chimpanzee trekking experience. Set against the backdrop of lush forests and diverse flora, Kibale sets the stage for intimate moments with nature and each other.

Day 7: Transfer & Private Boat Cruise – Queen Elizabeth National Park

After a relaxed breakfast, you will transfer by road to the Kasenyi sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Arrive on time for lunch and later in the afternoon, you will embark on a private boat cruise along the wildlife-populated Kazinga channel. Later transfer to Lodge

Day 8: Transfer & Sundowner Game Drive—Ishasha Sector

After a relaxed breakfast, you will transfer by road to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will arrive on time for lunch and later in the afternoon, you shall embark on a game drive in search of the famous tree-climbing lions. End the game drive to an awesome sundowner.

Day 9: Game Drive & Transfer: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

On this day, you will have an early morning game drive before you transfer to Bwindi in preparation for the ultimate gorilla trekking day.

One of the most anticipated moments of your honeymoon arrives: gorilla trekking in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. In the presence of these majestic creatures, you’re reminded of the raw beauty of nature and the interconnectedness of all life. Day 11: Relaxation & Batwa Community Experience – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
