3 Days Discover Chimpanzee Overview;
Day 1. Pickup and drive to Kibale Forest National Park
Day 2. Morning Chimpanzee Tracking, Afternoon Bigodi swamp walk/Community visit
Day 3. Morning visit the tea plantation as you drive back to Kampala/Entebbe
Day 1: Arrival & Transfer – Kibale Forest National Park
Your driver guide will pick you up at the airport or hotel and transfer you to Kibale Forest National Park. As you drive through the countryside, enjoy the remarkable landscapes, and traditional homes and catch glimpses of the different striking bird species. Have a stopover for lunch in Fort Portal Town, the tourism capital of Uganda because of its beautiful landscapes and attractions. You will arrive at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzees Trekking, Bigodi Swamp & Community Walk – Kibale National Park
Today you will have an early breakfast, then your driver guide will drive you to the briefing place, he will then hand in your details and permits for registration and allocation of the chimpanzee community to trek. You will then be allocated to a chimpanzee community and your ranger guide will lead you on the trek in search of this great ape. Watch the chimpanzees in their natural habitat, as they swing from the branches in the canopy high above the forest floor, feed, play and rest.
Later return for a hot lunch before you explore the Bigodi village. You have the opportunity to visit a swamp with abundant butterflies, plants, animals and spectacular birds like Great Blue Turaco which will be of great interest to birders. After this experience you will take a village walk that will lead you to the Coffee experience, banana bear making, busked making and traditional healing.

Day 3: Depart to Entebbe International Airport
After your relaxed breakfast, you will check out and embark on your transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your outbound flight. We hope you had the best of your time in Uganda’s countryside and watching the Chimpanzees in their home.
